G’day
June disappeared very quickly. However, I did take some time out for a reunion in the UK and had a few days in France and Spain whilst I was in the area. Very pleasant indeed.

I am always interested in curriculum development and the various ways in which educators put them together.Having spent much of this year and some of last contributing to the development of competency based curricula(CBC) for a Saudi institution, I have noticed an increase in the attention being paid to the creation of CBC for degree level courses. Good move, although it does have its challenges. Read the first article in this month’s posting and draw your own conclusions.
This month’s posting includes competence based curriculum, several publications from JISC,understanding assessment, literacy training manual, vocational education and training in Denmark, Clayton Wrights conference listing,iPods,iPhones and iPads in Education, evaluating educational Apps, Conferences and the odd one out.
Enough is enough. CU in August
